Going to Sleep

Going to sleep takes a LONG time in our household.  Little Miss C routinely does a myriad of acrobatics in her crib.  Are you familiar with the yoga position "downward dog"?  

This is Little Miss C's way of preparing for sleep...

Easter

The Easter Bunny officially came to our house this year. My brother and his family here visiting. It was so much fun to have them stay with us!

Little Miss C got a new baby (for use when her real baby is in the washer), more pacifiers, and Puffs.

She also got a new Sunday dress. The shoes and hanger were a hit!

In the evening, we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. I didn't end up getting pictures because there was so much going on! (Sorry to those that weren't there!) PC was in the kitchen all night making sure dinner was moving along and I was holding fast to the baby who wanted to get down and play but ran the risk of being stepped in the crowd. There ended up being about 50 people there. Holy cow!

After all of the festivities, I got to reflect on the true meaning of Easter. In the end it comes back to our Savior and eternal families. The One makes the other possible. I am so grateful for both.

Into the Mind of an 8 Month Old

Our baby is crawling. Oh boy is she crawling! She is getting faster. Here is a glimpse into today's activities...

PC has been extremely patient while I have had the house in upheaval doing my projects. Here's the latest...

Valance for the Study.

Curtains for the Living Room (they still need to be hemmed).

Tab curtains for the Kitchen.

Bunnies and eggs for Easter (bunny tutorial here).

I think it's time to put the sewing machine away for a while and clean up my messes!

New Things

We have all been busy doing new things. PC and I have been doing regular grown-up people things and Little Miss C has been busy growing up!
