Little Miss C turned one year old on Thursday! PC took the day off on her birthday to celebrate with us. We went to a working farm to see the animals for the festivities. We were lucky enough to have my sister and her family here for the week.

We planned a Very Hungry Caterpillar Party based on the book by Eric Carle. I think it turned out pretty great if I do say so myself. :) Note: I got most of my ideas off of various sites and put my own twist on them. Hooray for the internet!
The decorations turned out to be cute, cute, cute!
We had all the food that the caterpillar ate:
Little Miss C's smash cake was an apple and the rest of us had the caterpillar!
The birthday girl had her own special outfit! (I was very pleased with how the tutu turned out!)
We had fun, fun, fun with cousins!!
All the party-goers made button caterpillars with Grammie. (Thanks Mom!)
She opened soooo many gifts - all of which she loves!
| This is the blanket I made for her. I just had to show off how cute it turned out! |
| As always, the plate ends up being her favorite toy :) |
What a fun birthday! It was so much fun to see her with her "peeps"! She loved playing with all of the kids!
Happy birthday, little girl! We love you!
LOVE it! The party looks like it was so much fun! I think I'm going to have to fly you out to plan all of my kids' birthday parties. I can't believe it's been a whole year. Happy Birthday, Miss C!
ReplyDeleteSo, so, so, cute! Oh my goodness! I LOVE the party ideas! She is sooo cute too! Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the pictures! I've kind of been looking forward to them every day since Saturday. They *almost* make me feel like I was there. What an amazing job you did! And that tutu is seriously one of the cutest things I've seen. I love her wide stance.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad she joined our family a year ago. She certainly upped the cuteness factor.
Diana, love, love the post and the pictures. Sorry I wasn't there. Glad Your mom and Julia were. Give all my love to little Miss C!
